We are a community of dog sports enthusiasts from across Texas, dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership and fostering strong bonds between dogs and their handlers/owners. Our mission is to engage both mind and body through fun, challenging, and educational activities that encourage learning, teamwork, and the joy of canine sports. We are committed to youth outreach, inspiring the next generation of dog lovers through mentorship, hands-on experiences, and opportunities to participate in dog-related activities.
Mission Statement.
The Spirit of Texas Sporting Dog Club (SOTSDC) is dedicated to the preservation, education, and welfare of sporting dog breeds. Our mission is to promote responsible dog ownership, ethical breeding practices, and the health and well-being of all sporting dogs through community outreach, youth engagement, and support of canine health research. We host educational seminars and health clinics to inform the public, support breeders and owners, and advance the long-term vitality of sporting breed dogs. We strive to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of these breeds while serving as a trusted resource for dog enthusiasts across Texas.
